We had a crew up from Baltimore to go offshore for jumbo seabass from our home port in Point Pleasant New jersey. The crew really nailed the fish and these were some quality jumbo seabass in the 5-7 lb range. The charter had a great day as can be seen in the photos.
Left from point pleasant for an overnight tuna charter hoping that the bite would start up as its been a long hot summer with not much tuna so far in our local canyons. Well this charter hit the jackpot on chunking action. Non stop action with boat limits in 3 hours of fish to 80 lbs. The charter was really happy with the catch and all had tired arms. We decided after getting limit to head back to the dock in point pleasant. Please contact us for future trips as we will be running overnighters through october most likely.
Had a great crew today that slaughtered the cod on our charter from Point Pleasant NJ. The guys had three personal bests on this trip. Hope you enjoy the photos from this cod charter as much as we enjoyed catching them.
Today being the day after July 4th, noone wanted to head out to the deep. Headed out with just the boat crew and had a great day in the canyon. Left the dock around ten am and headed to the deep for some tuna action. Once we got to the canyon we had a mahi at 25 lbs, and some smaller yellow fin tuna. We also raised three whites. Slowed down for a little but at the end of the day we got nailed, with four rods going down. Ended up getting two of the bigeye tuna to the boat! Great day on the water and the bigeye were awesome!
Our charter for tilefish and hopefully some more grouper left point pleasant this morning and headed off to the deep in search of delicious meat. The crew definitely killed it and got a ton of tilefish and a couple more snowy grouper as well! The charter and myself were very excited by this. Another great day on the water with plenty of meat to go around for the charter and good times had by all. Bring on the grouper!!!
Our charter this morning left from Point Pleasant NJ to go hunt for some more delicious tilefish. Not only did the charter murder the tilefish but we had a suprise with some nice Snowy Grouper!!! Everyone was super excited and to get this fish up here is very uncommon. Grouper meat is delicious as is tilefish. Great charter with great guys. Cant wait to see everyone in Point pleasant again soon!
This morning we headed out for our tilefish charter with a crew of regulars. We arrived on the grounds and started fishing at 730 AM and it was game on! Non stop double headers, if you didnt have a fish less than a minute after hitting bottom, you were doing something wrong. lol. We had all the coolers full of blue line tiles before 915 AM. As this was a group of regulars and everyones arms were exhausted (except those electric users) we all decided to head back to the barn in point pleasant after a very successful charter. Bluelines to 21 lbs.
Our first tilefish charter of the season out of Point Pleasant NJ was a huge success. The pictures speak for themselves. All the customers on this charter went home with plenty of tilefish meat and sore arms. Look forward to seeing everyone in Point Pleasant again for their next tilefish charter.
Our charter from Point Pleasant NJ left the docks early to go out hunting for some cod. It was a great day on the water and a personal best was obtained for both the Boat and for charter member Ron Safar Jr. who pulled up a monstrous 46lb cod!!! The crew was catching all day and we came back to the dock with 35-40 keeps and one monster cod!
Our Cod charter from Point pleasant NJ today had a great day on the water. NJfishing.com member the1jonC provided the following report:
I jumped on the Russian Roulette for an open boat Cod trip. 2 guys no-showed but Capt and Mate still went out with 4.
I got to fish with Whitechin Kirk, who I know from NJ, not this board.
Capt ran out about 2 hours. First drop was a slow pick of keeper and throwback cod. I jigged up a nice market sized keeper cod that lost a nice jig to the wreck . Then I got a Dogfish and it was time to go.
We took another ride and settled on a nice wreck. I threw down another jig and got 2 Pollack back-to-back. One one the jog and one on the teaser. One of the other guys was also jigging. Capt calso came down and jigged. He boated a nice 15lb cod full of herring.
I switched to bait when the jig stopped producing and got another 2.
Wind started kicking up so we tried a n inshore wreck, but got no bites.
Only saw 2 doggies and a Poout the whole trip. We were aout 50/50 keepers to shorts.
Boat wound up with 21 Cod and 2 Pollack. Were greeted with steady snow at the dock. Great day on a great boat.
